Safety
Operating Your Sauna
- Regulate the temperature before a session. Preheat for 15-30 minutes (from room temperature). Do not allow the sauna to overheat during preheat or use.
- Suggested operational heat range: Infrared 38-65°C.
- Recommended time of use is a maximum of 15 minutes and 5 minutes for beginners.
- Stay hydrated during each session.
- Do not put combustible material on the heaters at any time.
- Never leave children unattended in the sauna.
- Never leave it unattended.
- Do not touch the heater panel when in operation.
- Exit the sauna immediately if feeling dizzy, faint or short of breath.
- Always use a qualified electrical contractor to meet UK safety standards.
- Always turn the power supply off after use.
Important Health Precautions
- Consult your GP if you are unsure on anything.
- Do not use the sauna if you're pregnant, have a heart condition, have low or high blood pressure or any underlying health conditions that an increase in temperature could aggravate.
- Consult your GP before using the sauna room if you're on medication, especially with drowsy side effects.
- Never use this sauna if you have been drinking alcohol or under the influence of other substances.
Returns
You can request to return your item within five days of delivery and return it to us within seven days after your request. The customer is responsible for the item's return shipping cost. Items must be in new, sellable condition and with all the original packaging.
To initiate a return, please email chat@bodybud.co.uk. We will provide you with an address to send your return to. The customer must notify bodybud of any damage within the first two days of delivery. If you find any damaged goods within this period, please inform us. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the safe return of your item. A restocking fee of 5% will be applied to this product.
Warranty
2 Year Wood Guarantee
Insignia saunas are made from the highest quality wood. All structures using wood are susceptible to minor dents, scratches and scuffing, which is entirely normal and will not affect the integrity or operation of your sauna. Wood is a living material that responds to climate conditions, even after being harvested & manufactured. Variations in the colour or grain and irregularities, such as fine cracks, are part of the natural beauty of the wood and in no way should be considered defects. During regular operation, wood may crack slightly due to changes in environmental moisture levels. The structural integrity is not affected or regarded as replaceable under the warranty terms. It's common for Cedar to turn a greyish colour over time, and again this is part of the natural beauty due to the ageing of the wood. Should your sauna have interior/exterior blemishes, scratches, or scuffs, these can be either left alone or sanded with fine-grain sandpaper. Please avoid any treatment containing a high concentration of alcohol as this may discolour the wood and leave the appearance with a stain.
3 Year Electrical Guarantee
Sauna electrics and stoves must be installed by a qualified electrician whose work complies with part "P" of government regulations. Under no circumstances should these saunas be installed by a non-qualified person. Failure to do so is hazardous and will invalidate any warranty.
Items not covered under warranty are as follows:
- Light bulbs used in wall lighting
- Rocks are susceptible to cracking/splitting over time and are considered consumable products. We recommend replacing your sauna rocks once they start to erode. It's best to check them every six months and use maintenance techniques to increase the longevity of your sauna rocks.
- Seat covers
IMPORTANT TO NOTE

Insignia Saunas are intended solely for household purposes. If the sauna is discovered to have been utilised in a commercial environment, the warranty will be considered null and void.
- Customers must register with Insignia for the warranty provided above. If the customer does not register the warranty, then only a year warranty is applicable for both, wood and electric.

Before any items leave the warehouse, we undertake strict procedures to ensure the product is in perfect condition before delivery. This includes a quality check of each item being photographed and identified. The item(s) will be signed off and passed to the courier. All items must be checked at the time of delivery. All the drivers are aware of this, and should you wish to refrain from checking the items, you will be asked to sign an inspection notice declined sheet. If the product should be damaged in any way, you MUST inform us immediately in writing at chat@bodybud.co.uk
- Delivery will be to kerbside only as delivery personnel cannot enter private residences, so the recipient of the goods is responsible for any additional lifting once the initial delivery has been made. We endeavour to deliver most products within 14 days; however, some larger items may take longer; therefore, all delivery dates shown are only estimated. Goods are subject to availability, and delivery delays are sometimes out of our control.
- Insignia Showers or Body Bud cannot take responsibility for claims of any shortages, damages or manufacturing faults 48 hours after delivery. Please check your delivery yourself and do not leave for your assembler or plumber to do this (except if Insignia Approved assembly company is used). Report any problems to chat@bodybud.co.uk within 48 hours, and we will be pleased to help and react quickly to resolve any issues. Never build any product and attempt a claim during or after this period, as ALL claims are rejected, and no product return is entered into due to the high risk of damage to a self-assembly product. Any time after this period, no claim can be compensated. Should you need additional time to check items, please inform us directly at the time of purchase; this can be arranged with couriers for you also.
- Please note should you need help or require an extended period to check your product, please call us first to make the arrangement. We are happy to assist in any way we can; extensions can be made if they are known about, and checks made first on your behalf and photographed to give peace of mind. This service is free of charge.
- Body Bud or Insignia do not cover labour or any services employed by a third party.
- Never install an internal use sauna in an outdoor environment. Please comply with this to ensure your warranty is valid.
- Only book tradesman once you have received and checked the goods are in satisfactory condition. Body Bud does not accept liability for any costs or compensation in any way which may arise from:
- Loss of profits, revenue, sales, income, or business;
- loss of savings;
- loss of goodwill;
- business interruption;
- If the products are damaged or defective on arrival;
- damage to property or possessions through the use or misuse of the products;
- loss caused by delay or other late performance; and
- Indirect or consequential losses.
