HOW LONG SHOULD I USE THE GLOWBLANKET FOR?

HOW OFTEN CAN I USE IT?

Many people build the GlowBlanket into a regular weekly wellness routine. Start gradually and pay attention to how you feel, particularly when using the blanket’s more enclosed format for the first time. Consistency and comfort are more important than excessive session length.
DO I NEED TO USE IT ON BARE SKIN?

Bare skin allows the light to reach the skin without a barrier, so it is the preferred option where comfortable and appropriate. Light, clean clothing may still be used for a more relaxed session, but thicker or darker materials will reduce the amount of light reaching the body.
CAN I USE RED LIGHT AND NEAR-INFRARED LIGHT SEPARATELY?

Yes. The dual-controller system allows you to select 660nm red light, 850nm near-infrared light, or both together. Near-infrared light is largely invisible to the eye, so some LEDs may look dim or appear not to be lit even when working correctly.
DOES THE GLOWBLANKET GET WARM?

Yes. The enclosed design and limited air circulation can create a warm, cocoon-like experience, with temperatures capable of reaching around 40°C+. It should feel pleasantly warm, never uncomfortably hot. Stop the session if you feel overheated, irritated or unwell.
IS RED AND NEAR-INFRARED LIGHT PAINFUL OR UNSAFE?

A session should not be painful. You may feel warmth and a gentle light sensation, but there should be no burning, discomfort or irritation. Do not use while sleeping, with wet skin, or immediately after applying oils, lotions or heat-producing creams.

Wipe the faux-leather surface gently with a soft, lightly damp cloth; keep the controller, adapter and all connections dry. Do not fold sharply, crush the LEDs or place heavy objects on the blanket.
