Which stand should I choose for the Mega?

How far away should I be from the panel?
For most sessions, 15 to 30cm (6 to 12 inches) works well. Sit a little closer for deeper muscle sessions and a little further back for face and skin routines.
How often should I use it?
Regular use matters more than long sessions. Most people use their panel 3 to 5 times a week, spending around 10 minutes on each area.
What is the difference between red and near-infrared light?
Red light (630 to 660nm) is visible and is mainly absorbed in the skin. Near-infrared (810 to 850nm and above) is invisible and travels deeper into muscle and tissue. Combining them covers both.
Do I need bare skin and eye protection?
Bare skin is best, because clothing blocks most of the light. Don't stare into the LEDs: close your eyes or wear light-blocking goggles, especially for face sessions.
Will red light tan or burn my skin?
No. Red and near-infrared light contain no UV, so they don't tan. You may feel gentle warmth, but a session should never feel hot or painful.

Can I use it for my lower back and legs?
Yes. The MEGA is 91cm tall, so standing or sitting close to it covers roughly knee to chest in one go, including the lower back, hips and thighs. Turn round halfway through to cover your front and back in one session.
How long does a session take?
Most people use 10–20 minutes. The built-in timer runs from 5 to 60 minutes, so you can set it, relax and let it switch itself off.
Is red light better than heat or a massage gun?
They do different things. Heat warms the surface, a massage gun works the muscle mechanically, and red and near-infrared light is a gentle, hands-free routine. Many people use the MEGA alongside what they already do because it takes no effort: stand in front of it and relax.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. Wear the goggles provided, keep your eyes closed and stand or sit close to the panel. Because it’s 91cm tall, your face, neck and chest get light at the same time.
Should I put skincare on before or after?
Most people use the panel on clean, dry skin and apply serums and moisturiser afterwards, so nothing sits between your skin and the light.
Is it better than an LED face mask?
A mask covers your face only. The MEGA covers your face and body in the same session with 300 high-power LEDs, and there’s nothing to wear on your face.
Can I add more panels later?
Yes. The MEGA works on its own on a door, on a floor or lite stand, or as part of a 2 or 4 panel setup. Plenty of customers start with one and add more later.
How much space do I need?
The panel is 91 x 29.8 x 6cm and hangs on a standard door with the hook included. On the lite stand, allow about 57 x 65cm of floor space.
How does it compare with paying for sessions?
If you pay £25 a session elsewhere, the MEGA costs the same as 26 sessions. After that, every session at home is free – for everyone in the house.
How quickly could it pay for itself?
It depends on what you charge and how many sessions you run. As an example, at £25 a session the MEGA costs the same as 26 sessions – about a week at 4 sessions a day.
Is it powerful enough for a studio?

Do I need to put the light directly on bare skin?
For best results, the light should hit the target area as directly as possible. Light, breathable clothing may allow some penetration, but direct exposure is generally the better option.
Do I need eye protection?
You do not need to stare directly into the LEDs. Protective goggles are included for comfort and peace of mind, and many users either wear them, close their eyes, or angle their face away during sessions.
Is red light therapy painful or unsafe?
Used properly, red and near-infrared light therapy is generally considered a non-invasive and comfortable wellness modality. It should not feel painful, and it is very different from UV tanning exposure.
Will this tan my skin?
No. Red light and near-infrared light do not work like UV tanning light, so the panel will not tan your skin.
